the truth nobody told us

Women have been caring for women's bodies for thousands of years. Through cycles and births and losses and transformations. With plants. With knowledge passed hand to hand, generation to generation.

That knowledge was not lost. It was taken. Deliberately removed from our hands and replaced with systems that were never built with us in mind — and in many cases, were built on our harm.

What we call "alternative" medicine was once just medicine. Our medicine.

Peristeam hydrotherapy is one thread of that returning. One gentle, somatic, powerful way back into relationship with our own bodies. Back into the autonomy that was always ours.

This is not a wellness trend. This is a remembering.

who this is for

Your cycle is irregular, painful, unpredictable, or absent

You're navigating fibroids, cysts, infections, or fertility concerns

You've been dismissed, medicated, or told to just live with it

You've tried steaming but weren't sure you were doing it right

You want to understand your inner seasons and hormonal rhythms

You're ready to stop outsourcing your body knowledge and start building it

why this exists

My best friend introduced me to steaming in 2016. There we were, squatting awkwardly over a hot pot with farmers market herbs, no ceremony, no protocol. And even then, something in my body remembered.

Years of learning followed. Time in the jungle understanding how plants actually move through us — energetically, physically. Training with Keli Garza's school Steamy Chick where I learned why each herb matters, why protocol matters, and the history of how this knowledge was held by women and taken from us.

I built this container because I want every woman who works with me to leave knowing her body well enough to take care of it for the rest of her life. Not dependent on me. Not dependent on systems that have failed her. Knowing herself.

Your body is not a problem to be managed. It is a language to be learned.

I'm not here to be your practitioner forever. I'm here to help you become your own first resource.

FAQ

Is peristeam hydrotherapy safe?

When done correctly — with the right herbs, the right protocol, for the right body — yes. Safety is the foundation of everything I build. There are contraindications, which is exactly why a custom plan matters more than a generic one. I am not giving you someone else's protocol. I am building yours.

What does a steam session actually look like?

A steam session involves sitting or squatting over a vessel of herb-infused hot water, typically a specially designed steam stool or seat, or a carefully arranged setup with a pot or bowl. Cloaking and clothing is determined by your individual steam plan. Sessions typically last between 10 and 30 minutes depending on the protocol. The experience is warm, aromatic, and deeply relaxing.

I've never steamed before. Is this still for me?

Of course! No prior experience is required or expected. Many of the women I work with come in with no experience at all. Your plan will meet you exactly where you are.

What concerns can peristeam hydrotherapy support?

Irregular cycles, painful periods, short or long cycles, infections, fibroids, cysts, fertility support, postpartum recovery, and general womb wellness. Every plan is built around what your body is specifically navigating.

Can I steam while breastfeeding?

Absolutely yes. The protocol just needs to account for the fact that breastfeeding can suppress ovulation and affects the hormonal environment. An intake assessment will determine the appropriate approach and how we track progress over the 3 months.

What happens after I purchase?

Your intake form comes to you right away. Once I review it, I build your custom plan and herbal formula and deliver your full resource packet within 72 hours. Then we schedule your first call and begin.

Who are you and why does this work matter to you?

I'm a certified peristeam hydrotherapist trained through Keli Garza's school Steamy Chick and an integrative nutrition health coach certified through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition — where the concept of bio-individuality sits at the center of everything I learned. The idea that no two bodies are the same, that what nourishes one person depletes another, that there is no universal protocol for a human being, that principle runs through every plan I build.

Before the certifications came years of living it. Time in indigenous communities in the jungle, sitting with plant medicine, witnessing healings that had no clinical explanation and didn't need one. I came to this work through lived experience long before I had formal language for it.

I do this because I believe women deserve to know their bodies. Because that knowledge was taken from us. And because reclaiming it, gently, together, is some of the most important work I know how to do.

Is this cultural appropration?

This is worth addressing thoughtfully. Peristeam hydrotherapy as taught through certified training acknowledges and honors the cultural origins of the practice. Evidence of pelvic/womb/vaginal/yoni steaming has been found in every continent and most countries. This is an ancestral practice that belongs to everyone. The goal of this work is not to extract a practice from its roots for profit — it is to return body knowledge to the women and people it belongs to, with full acknowledgment of where it comes from and who has carried it. The distinction between respectful reclamation and extractive appropriation matters and is something every practitioner should be actively conscious of.

Your body has been waiting for this relationship.

The mark of holiness is wholeness.

We were never meant to be fragmented from our own bodies.

This is one way back, and once you reclaim it, it's yours for life.
